Weeksville Restoration Featured in The Architect's Newspaper

The Hunterfly Road Houses are the last remaining structures of historic Weeksville, one of the largest free Black communities in pre-Civil War America. CTA led the restoration of these structures, helping ensure they continue to stand for generations to come.

The project required careful attention to the site's history at every step, from the original siding and shutters to the interior spaces now used to share Weeksville's story with visitors.
