The Edgar Allan Poe School, an iconic civic landmark with a storied history dating back to 1911, holds a special place in the heart of the community it serves. At CTA Architects, we are honored to be part of its preservation and restoration journey.

The project included the careful reconstruction of the building’s original parapet design in coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office. Undertaken following the completion of a major building addition, the restoration preserves the architectural character of the school while supporting its continued role as a vital educational institution in the community.
