STEM LAB + LIBRARY

209 YORK STREET, BROOKLYN, NY

P.S. 307, also known as the Daniel Hale Williams School, is a Magnet school for STEM studies located at 209 York Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at P.S.307 is all encompassing; every child from Pre-K to Grade 5 is immersed in STEM studies throughout their day and within all academic subjects.

Our work at P.S. 307 included the renovation and enlargement of the existing library. Opening up into the adjacent classroom allowed for more library space and the addition of a new librarian’s office. New furniture and finishes throughout were specifically chosen to complement and enhance the STEM focused curriculum. The words Imagine, Experiment, Discover, Create were made into custom decals that wrap the room perimeter; designed to inspire the students and promote learning in the new library.
