The renovation and enlargement of the existing library at P.S. 307 was a project aimed at creating more space for students to learn, explore and discover. By merging the library with an adjoining classroom, the project effectively generated more room for students to engage with knowledge and ideas. Additionally, a new librarian's office was introduced, further enhancing the library's functionality.

As a Magnet school with a specialized focus on STEM studies, P.S. 307 recognized the importance of creating a learning environment that aligns with their educational philosophy for every child from Pre-K to Grade 5. Every design element, from furniture to finishes, were carefully selected to complement and enhance the school’s STEM curriculum.

A distinctive aspect of the project involved the creation of custom decals that were placed throughout the library. These visual elements were intentionally designed to inspire and ignite the students' imaginations, fostering a spirit of experimentation, discovery, and innovation.
