INSTITUTIONAL DESIGN

400 IRVING AVENUE, BROOKLYN, NY

Bushwick High School is a 5-story, steel frame building with masonry walls where we renovated the school’s cafeteria. The renovation included ceiling replacement, new paint finishes, and decorative wall decals. CTA designed the graphic decals around a list of “buzzwords” and school colors for the four schools that share the facility to create a visually exciting, inspirational atmosphere in the common area. This project was part of a Capital Improvements Projects Term Contract held with the New York City School Construction Authority and made possible through a Reso A grant.
