Type:

ca. 1885 Dutch Revival masonry, heavy timber and cast iron building in New Rochelle, New York. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the redevelopment.

Scope:

Complete rehabilitation of an existing 70,000 square foot vacant manufacturing building, and conversion into rental loft apartments. Work included the necessary procedures to meet the requirements of the National Park Service in order to obtain a National Register listing. Included in the interaction with the National Parks Service was successful advocacy for the design of the new modern entrance to conceal severely damaged masonry exposed by the demolition of an insignificant previous addition.
