HIDDEN SPACES

One of the defining elements of the New York City landscape is the skyscraper-lined streets. The massive buildings stand tall and proud next to one another as the narrow roads carve out the spaces in between. The blocks stack up and layers of buildings accumulate forming a grid of canyons. With all of the excitement taking place on the streets and the buildings towering over you, it is easy to feel consumed and overwhelmed. But tucked away from the chaos and masses of people, there are hidden oases nestled in the ravine surrounded by buildings. Each space is unique to their owner but they all share the same quality of serene calmness amongst a boisterous city.
