Jefferson Towers is a 1970’s twenty-story exposed concrete residential building with projecting balconies, and ground floor and basement commercial area. The building stands on a large base forming open plazas in the front and behind the building.

Scope:

The project consisted of the exterior restoration of the building, as well as the replacement of main roof and water tower roof. Concrete restoration work and building coating was necessitated by the requirements of New York City’s Local Law 11/98. Also included was masonry replacement and concealed flashing work to address multiple leaks within the building. Subsequent projects included the replacement of the plaza and sidewalk vault waterproofing and finish systems, and building-wide balcony door replacement. Recent work at Jefferson Towers has included the expansion and renovation of the lobby and other public spaces.
